Hello and welcome to Guate's Dog Rescue! This is a site dedicated to homeless dogs in Guatemala. Unfortunately, dog overpopulation has become a national problem. Not only are the dogs suffering daily, but they also can contribute to causing car accidents, spreading contagious diseases, and attacking other animals or people. You can help prevent this by adopting dogs instead of buying.

To adopt a dog, follow these simple steps:

Check out what dogs are currently available for adoption.
Fill out this form, including the name of the dog/dogs you are interested in to make an appointment.
Receive appointment confirmation and visit our shelter.

You can also donate to our shelter and help keep our dogs healthy and safe. The money donated will be used to purchase materials and food needed to take care of the dogs, and also to perform spaying and neutering surgical procedures to prevent more overpopulation.
